If it was in repo over seven years ago you
shouldn't have a credit problem, the legal
problem is what you need help with. You need
to contact an attorney and tell him/her you are
being sued, as it sounds like you are. I rarely
hear of finance companies doing this, but if
they can find your assets they will.

After speaking to an attorney, do your best not
to make any large purchases I would not
accept any more documents in the mail but
return to sender. Do not sign for anything that
comes to you. Do not speak to the attorney
suing you except through your attorney.

I would also read up on the law, at websites
such as www.findlaw.com and many others to
see if it's legal to sue you and what the laws
are in your state. Having that information can
help you. Also there are attorneys on these
websites to help you.
