Yep, and that sucks big time. I hate paying an attny as well but don't know enough to do it myself. I am praying they just drop it and think I am too much trouble to bother with for $2000. I know my sister is using an attny for her divorce and he charges $220/hour, if they have to deal with a countersuit with me, (plus I know that the $2000 has to include outrageous fees because when I quit paying I only owed about $800)if they know they inflated and that I want proof of acctg. maybe they will just leave me be (Oh please God let that happen). I am hoping the letter I sent helps. Have you sent any letters to them Christy?
