Settled with RMA on behalf "acting agent" for Citi. The letter states and I quote "please be advised that rsik management alternatives as acting agent for citibank has accepted 868.00 as settlement in full on the above referenced account". next line says if any questions contact for clarification.
My question:
1. Did I get hosed (yes i now know shouldn't of pd ca), meaning can they sell it to someone else (already opted out)
2. Original amt w/ citi was 867 (yes i know am shaking my head too- bad debt settlement places- they are joke!!)
3.should i have her send me clarification saying $0 is owed (oc is still showing 867 balance and exp. wont correct it properly says that is what they(oc) show. Help and thanks in advance
