Okay now that we have gotten out of the consolidation program and in a year it will off my husband's credit report, we have a problem with DM. They considered my husband a fool for getting out of the program, because now because of the 2 delinquent payments that the consolidation company caused, DM is going to put the interest rate up to the default rate, which would make the amount of money that is owed back up to what it originally was, and make the payments higher. Which would pretty much mean that the money we have spent with the consolidation company was a waste.
How do we negotiate with DM to help us? They were not helpful by any means to my husband yesterday.
Thank you.
