I don't know what the court sanctions are, but they must be pretty serious because a poster on the bk forum is suing a creditor who contacted him for 25k. They expect to settle for about half that in return for not reporting the creditor to the US Bankruptcy Court, the FTC, the AG's office, etc.

You don't wanna mess with the federal courts!
