I suggest you read through the archives- past posting of the previous months. Texas is actually very friendly to debtors- main exception being that if a creditor decided to sue they could ask the court to freeze your bank account prior to any judgment being issued.

I'm not from Texas, but apparently this is sometimes granted as creditors have very little way of collecting money from you even if they win.

You might want to read up and assess your sitution.
