You will often get that response if you don't include the report number (or confirmation number) from a report ordered directly from TU.

Warn her, however, that if it *is* in fact her account, she runs the risk of TU updating the charge-off to the present date.

Tell her to get a report directly from TU and then to try disputing it. I've had pretty good success in getting erroneous information deleted or updated with TU.
