WhyChat plz clear something up for me. I could have my states or CA's mixed up. I thought I read last week that Sherman was not allowed to operate LEGALLY in Texas. Is that the case? I settled with Northland group (retained by Sherman who bought a Bank of America account.) I settled more than a year ago and Sherman sent the "balance" to another CA with hopes of collecting. I advised them I had already settled---sent a copy of the letter....Called Sherman and they closed it.

YOU MUST KNOW IF SHERMAN DOESN'T SETTLE THEY WILL SEND IT TO A CA WHO WILL!
