Actually I got a lawyer wen I claimed bankrupcy in 1997. And they took my income and they took my bills,, he never once asked me if I had disposiable income, not once did he ask me any question besides how much do I have in savings and stock and bonds and in checking account. I claimed chapter 7 no problem. I do however recommened debit consolidation through profina or careone If the bebt can be paid off in 5 years or less. Bankrupcy does sound good, when you are exhausted by phone calls and just want the nightmare to end.
