The SOL in GA is 4 years. Where is this law firm located? If they are not in your state, they can not sue, but rather would have to hire a local attorney.

TO DETERMINE THE SOL. Look at your credit report, look for the chargeoff date, then look for the first "30 day late" prior to that chargeoff date.

Send the SOL letter certified/return receipt.
