I live in Indiana, and the debt is about a year old. I havent called the local court to see about a judgement. I have gotten a lot of phone calls, and some letters...but all the letters say call to settle...but when I try and settle they still tell me that amount owed is $848 or whatever...but if you pay sooo much now then you can settle, but like I said being a single mom and gettin paid every 2 weeks, I cant just throw down an amount cause I have other bills I have to pay too. It is just a mess and I would like to take care of it...but I could only do a payment plan or so much a month (that would fit into my budget) she said I must make a payment of atleast $500 today by 5pm or she is processing the paper work. So what does that mean? And do you know how much they can take out at a time out of your paycheck? thanks for all your help
