Well, they should, but probably won't send you a letter within 5 business days. In that letter they should name the original creditor. NO MATTER. If you have an address, send the SOL letter certified/return receipt. IGNORE THEIR PHONE CALLS. They can do nothing, and they know it. Watch caller ID, let the machine pick up, when you talk to them you are adding fuel to the fire, they will continue calling on the outside chance they can extort some money from you. If you ignore them, they will move on.
