Is this a credit card account? When did you LAST pay the ORIGINAL creditor? The SOL for a CC debt in KS is 3 years. If you register a car and have a driver's license, it won't be difficult to find you within the same state. And if you're going to be sued, then you need to know about it. Sticking your head in the sand will only result in a default judgment when they sue you at your last known address. (Yes, they can do that if they *can't* find you.) The first you'll know of it is when they attach to your assets (such as a bank account).
