Newcomers -

As sage Taziblue generously counsels, you've many friends here who will gladly help you win over these lice. Many times, you can represent youself - pro per - in collections actions. In the "Florida Killing Fields", a lawyer is advisable. Yet even a fine lawyer - and we know many - cannot always take time to give encouragement. Know that many 'lifetime friends' of collectors can be reached on this board, the better to make CA's lives 'interesting'. When first this unworthy correspondent was sued - unsucessfully - by one of these sleazoids, Legal Aid kindly guided me as to how to answer the suit, respond to Interogatories, even though I did not meet their criteria to be their client. They are in your phone book, lawyer's of last resort. A kinder soul than John Cunningham of Gulcoast Legal Services, you cannot find, nor a man with a keener sense of injustice.
Remember, Collectors are cheap, two-bit, cowardly bullies. Their 'product' is misery, their methods are best described as 'injustice'.

Interestingly,
