ya know, after struggling for 2 years to pay our bills, AND
work with first the credit cards and now the collectors to
work out a payment plan, i am all for the chapter 7. over
and done!!!! seriously, her car is paid off in 2 monts, and a
chapter 7 on top of that would give us $500/month to EAT
rather than pay minimums and struggle to survive. i feel
guilty about it, and the wife feels bad our other (paid)
creditors will suffer, but i am SOOOOOOOO mad at a
system that
basically says all or nothing! i mean, if i had 6K to settle, i
wouldn't have defaulted :P we have one more lawyer to
see... maybe he'll be the tiebreaker.
