I was just reminded of a funny story. Towards the end of my credit/debt problems, I told a CA that I was judgment proof, that had talked to an attorney ( I did) and that I didn't care what she did. She got so flustered and told me she was going to tell somebody that I wouldn't give her the name of my attorney......WAS I SUPPOSSED TO BE SCARED??? Too bad I didn't know it if that was the case!!
The attorney I consulted with was a family member, and he was not representing me, just advising me.
