3 years ago a creditor placed a judgement against my parents for a debt they claimed was mine, their daughter. My parents, who are retired, sold a peice of property 2 months ago, and a debt they claimed was 1,600.00 has now become 9,200.00. They hired a PA attorney for another 2,500.00 and after 2 weeks, attorney says they can not have judgement overturned, it is beyond statute of limitations....how can this all happen?
