C&D after 2nd Val. request - mailing tomorrow

Today is day 15 on my second Validation request and I have received nothing from them. They sent a print out the first time around, but it appears that they have ignored my second request....unless it shows up tomorrow. If they do send proof after today, does that still count?

Anyway, I'm sending them a C&D tomorrow and just wanted to make sure this letter is okay to send. I got one opinion on another site, but I usually like to get more than one. I used part of Linda's letter and part of another letter and made it fit my situation. Anything that I should remove or make sure that I add? I just want them to go away....I don't want to end up in court. They have followed the laws so far, except for ignoring the last request.

Thanks!

Re: File

To Whom It May Concern:

This letter is being sent to you regarding my previous validation requests. Twice, I have requested validation of your claim of debt against me and twice you have failed to provide sufficient, legal proof of this alleged debt. Pursuant to the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, I now request that you cease further communications with me. I will assume that your collection efforts are being terminated, that you have waived all claims against me and that this matter is permanently closed.

If you fail to heed this notice, I will file a formal complaint against you with the Federal Trade Commission who is responsible for enforcement, the States Attorney General office and/or the American Collectors Association or local State Bar Association. You are also notified that should any adverse information be placed against my credit reports as a result of this notice that appropriate actions will be taken. Give this very important matter the attention it deserves.

Best regards,
