Totally Confused!

It seems that Im reading in one post that they cannot put a lein on joint owned property if only one is an authorized user of the cards,and then reading where they might be able to just take husbands half. Then im reading where we would have to settle the lein in order to sell the property. Ok now Im confused! We are in Ohio, I will try to find out the laws concerning this here. If the house was not yet in our names I cannot see how it would be fraud to put it in just my name or anyone elses for that matter. You should be able to deed it to whomever you want. Going to check ohio laws! Thanks
