It is as impossible to understand the various problems relating to credit, debt and collections as it is in the fable of the 4 blind men -each touching a different apect of the elephant.

You see the credit industry as a tree, because you have your arms wrapped around a giant leg. Those who are deeply in debt, in pain from the difficulty of their lives see it as a big snake, because they are in contact with the writhing trunk.

There is a BIG BEAST out there that panders to the greed of international banking and corporate malfeasance, that urges kids like yourself to get deeply in debt to purchase the geegaws that the society of conspicuous consumption advertises and promotes as essential to their well being.

The all pervasive hucksters continue to push for a throwaway -buy new-buy now-pay later -built in obsolescence for young families.

If it weren't for the house of plastic cards -there would be NO economy in our Country, and perhaps in most other developed countries.

Debt collection is a part of the whole picture of credit, it cannot be seperated from the body of the beast.
