Live in TX stopped paying CC what is going to happen?

I am $35,000 in CC debt and lost my job 5 months ago. I have only found a job that was half my salary. Will the debt go away after 7 years and I can start over again. I do not care about the phone calls I just do not answer it. Keep in mind I live in TX.
