RE: notice to cease and desist contact regarding disputed debts ? X Bank and Y Dealer Dear CAMCO: This will serve as your legal notice under provisions of federal law, specifically Section 805c of the Fair Debt collection Practices Act (FDCPA), to cease all communication with me in regards to the debts referenced above at the 555.1212 phone number. I have already filed an initial complaint with the FTC (11/10/02) regarding your questionable practices and blatant contravention of the FDCPA legislature. If you should fail to act on the instruction of this letter, I will forward to the FTC records of the harassing and abusive phone calls that my husband or myself have received from your company, to assist them in pursuing my complaint. Furthermore, I will contact the States Attorney General?s Office and / or the American Collectors Association regarding your company?s activities. Finally, please be also aware that should you cause any adverse information to appear in my credit report, I will take appropriate further actions against your company.
