I was "served" last night to respond to some questions. I live in Alvin, Texas and the attorney is in San Antonio representing Chase Manhattan bank up in "yankee" land. I have been part to many legal matters due to my divorce and having a child, so I have been served before and have also had a judgement against me. Although the document looks official, it also looks "bogus" in a way. It is simply asking for admissions to be answered and brought back to the court. Does anyone know about this? What would happen if they won a judgement? Is it like someone suing for 20 million dollars, knowing that person doesn't have or never will have that amount of money, thus never paying it? I would welcome any comments. Thanks!
