Validation NEVER runs out !! You can ask for validation ANY TIME, not just in the 30 days they give you in their dunning letters. If he has proof from CCC that payments were sent and the place had them 'sitting around', then did they ever credit his account with those payments ?

Creditors can't just leave payments sitting on someone's desk ! I belive it is part of either the FCBA or perhaps the FDIC rules that says they HAVE to credit your account with a payment on the DAY ITS RECEIVED, not whenever they get around to it.

Second, they CANNOT drain his checking account without a judgment first. If he hasn't been sued, then they can't make a grab for any of his money.

Send validation and find out what CashAmerica did with those payments. If you have a statement from CCC that payments WERE sent to the right place and on time, then you have some leverage.
