Today, letter from NCO, advice......

Hi today I rec'd a letter from NCO regarding a cellular one bill from 3-97.....on my credit report, cell 1 says they charged off 307 dollars, nco's bill 670.00.......should i send them a validate letter, a c & d??? i really want to know where they came up with 670. if so, where should i get the letter from.... thanks..
