What should I do next?Before dispute showed balance, now it doesnt

I recenly got all 3 copys of my credit
report and disputed a BofA for a joint account, that wass
charged off and due to come off in two years so I that i'd dispute
it by saying it was not mine. When I disputed the account it showed
a charge off balance of 1300.00. Today I received a copy of my
equifax just stating that the account was verified but now the
account shows 0 balance but now states account sold or transferred.
Before I disputed the account I called the number given by the
CRA
and BofA had no record of the account but now I get this new report
from equifax saying its been verified and there is now a different
phone number than what was on the previous report. Should I try
to dispute it again or try calling BofA to see if they can track
it down so I can settle. mortgage company wants it paid off before
proceeding with the loan. Thanks in advance.
