I believe FHA loans are available to you 2 years after BK and a standard mortgage in 4 years.
I think as long as you have good income, savings, and no outstanding debts that you will get the FHA loan. so save all your money for the next year. They will be impressed and will probably give you the loan without a recent good credit history.
