Question
Received collection letter. Replied for validation. What if any time must they provide so called "proper verification?" I received letter from collector stating, may take awhile due to being archived. I sent same validation letter to cra. They investigated. Collector verified with them. Item remains. I haven't heard back from collector, yet. Hmmmmmmmm

Next question
I file suit. Six months later they show up and provide proper validation. Am I screwed..

Also, Im curious to how many people have had to take collector to court, or have gotten item removed after sending validation reuest and them not being able to provide. Will follow up letter to cra's stating they haven't provided validaion force cra's to remove even though collector replied to them as remains? I
