Hello
Went to the PO Box today, found a letter from a local attorney, threatening to sue over a just past the SOL debt. Letter was dated 8/22, postmarked 8/27. They gave me 30 days from receiving letter to write them for validation or else debt is valid. They also mention the debt accruing interest as of 3/6/2001 which I believe was the charge off date, so SOL started on 9/6/2000. This all is the same as the dates reported in my credit reports. I'm in AZ where the limit is 3 years so I just made it. So do I request validation or just send them Why Chats SOL letter? I know to send it where I get the green slip back but anything in particular I should do or not do regarding either letter I send? Thank you very much.
