You cannot get a judgment vacated because it was beyond SOL when it was filed.

You need to get the Court records and see what they claimed for proof of service.

You MAY be able to get it vacated if you can show improper service, or another QUALIFIED reason for vacating the judgment.

As to filing suit against them-- you JUST found out about it when you got your credit report, so it would be difficult to claim your credit was "damaged" in the past 4 years, as you woul have found out about it earlier if it had been.

What State are you in? What State was the judgment filed in?

The judgment has obviously not been enforced against you, so you may have changed States and MAY be opening yourself up to enforcement of the judgment in the State you are in now.
