Are you saying you were never served? Are they asking for the court costs only? Is this the CA that sent this letter?

Look for a case number on the Satisfaction of Judgment. Call the court and find out if there is a Judgment or not. It sure sounds like it.

When you pay a Judgment, you normally pay through the court. Don't ever pay the CA for a Judgment. Pay the court and the court will send the money to the CA.

You may be able to have it removed if you weren't served. Just call the court and ask what it shows on the servicing document. Served or not? Ask how served?
