SOL Question

Ok, I have done a great job of cleaning up my credit report so far. There are still 2 things that I can't get off however, even after requesting validation from the OC. They are 2 collection accounts (both the same account from 2 different collection agencies), Bonded Collectors of Largo and Pinnacle Credit Services (OC was supposedly Citibank), which I actually believe are one and the same company. CRA reports last date of activity as 4/2000 so I know the SOL i know is up in NC. Here are my concerns. 1. I have no derogatory statements from Citibank whatsoever and so truly don't even know if this collection is really valid and nobody responds to validation request and CRA says they have verified it, but won't send me anything. 2. In 3/93 I relocated from NY to NC, so if this account really is mine, is the SOL based on if I opened the account in NY or based on my current residence in NC?
