Worst case scenario

I was wondering if someone could help me. I feel stupid. I am in around $10,000 or more in debt. I was young at the time of my credit card possesions. I now have creditors who have sued and others who are in the process of it. I have been totally ignorant towards it all. I ignored all the years of calls and threats. I want to pay it off but want to know what is the next step after a lawsuit has been won against me. These posts don't seem to spotlight any of the "judgement day" worst case scenarios. I work, but have no assets for them to reposess. Other than wage garnishments, can I go to jail if I can't pay?
