HELP! I have a credit card debt in collections with Unifund agency.. I have been offered a position with a major financial company which I REALLY would like to take, however they will not clear me for hire until I make a payment arrangement with the collection agency and provide them with proof of that arrangement..... I have no problem doing this, except I CAN'T GET AHOLD OF UNIFUND!!! Citibank gave me their phone #, and I have called again and again, but no one ever answers and I keep getting a general voicemail! If I don't resolve this in the next few days, my job offer will be with drawn, please plase help if you have any suggestion how to get ahould of these jerks so I can settle! I cant believe this Im trying to pay them!
