Hi everyone! Apparently I found this website a little too late. I currently have a claim filed with the NAF (I didn't know at the time how to handle the claim) and I was also served a summons which I did answer in the time frame allowed and I have to be in court on June 3rd for a hearing. Does anyone have a clue what happens at the hearing? I live in Michigan and the only assets that I do have are my mobile home and a car that is falling apart. I do have a motorcycle in my name but I don't make the payments on it and it is set up for a disabled person. Oh, I'm also self-employed...if/when I lose, what can they take from me? I'm sorry this is long but I just want to know what to expect when I get to court and how to prepare and protect what I do have. Thanks!
