I am in need of your advice and wisdom. I am 5 months behind on 2cc's. One of them is represented by W&A..(give you one guess which credit card company it is:). This is also the larges balance I have(27K). I have been seperated from my ex for a little over a year. It is because of his school debt that I have this balance (the cc was in my name). I hope to have the divorce final, but it is taking some time because my ex lives overseas. But, we are amblicable. He helped get our son and I a house (by using his name only), but I am paying for it. I tried to use Emergency Debt Relief, but they just took my money and the CA still keep hounding. I have other cc's but I am current on these and I am able to handle them for now. I am a single mom with a very minimal job trying to make ends meet. I don't want to do BK, because I am the exec. of my son's trust fund. I would loose his trust for school if I decleared BK. In addition, I would have to give up my car. The car is the only thing I own outright. My goal is to pay off all my small cc's one at a time. Until, I am able to figure out a way to settle the 2 larger ones. I know I can do this somehow, but I need time to find a better job. In addition, I just need time to save up money to make a settlement offer. I am just afraid the CA's and W&A are not going to give me enough time to make things right. Should I just do BK and loose my son's future education? Please I need your wisdom to help me make a sound decision.

Thank you for all your advice.
PB
