Okay guys......I am about to answer my discovery letter and you said to give them little information, so that is what I am going to do. They want to know when I last charged, when I last paid, who I am going to use as a witness, etc. I'm sure you know what they are asking. When it comes to the checking acct, WhyChat said to put "not applicable", which it isn't because I didn't make payments from the account. Now...one question, when this was with Encore Collection agency, they said I had to pay with post-dated checks, up to six months is what they wanted, but I would only go three months. My account NEVER went down, only UP, so of course, I asked what was going on and a woman there said they would get back to me, that was a year ago! I guess she knew they were wrong. NOW...is it really legal for CA to ask for post-dated checks? I didn't think it was. I am so nervous about this, there has been no judgement, I haven't been to court, it's just been paperwork so far.
