Need some advise on a charge off

Hi,
Desperation has led me to ask this. here is the basic info. Had a corporate card and went through a separation. I Owe around 4500.00 and have been paying 240.00 per month now for over 6 months. Every month the collection office has someone new call me and demand more money. I explain that I had an arrangement with their office(and 4 people ago) that I have kept and being a single Mom with 2 small children, that is all I can afford right now. I have explained this now to 5 different folks. My card has been cancelled for over a year now and this is on my credit report as a charge off. I am really scared that these people are asking me to give them more than I have and want to know what my rights are. Please help. Any advise? Thanks very much. -Scared in Texas
