I never responded to "YOUR" post, I simply told the woman not to worry.
What the heck is wrong with telling someone not to worry? We never received an 1099 for the settlement we reached. Neither has anyone I know that has reached settlements.
Your problem is your a paranoid freak!!!
Everyone is suspicious to you, you need to calm down.
Your post to the lady was so matter of fact, "You will get a 1099C for the unpaid balance from Chase.(taxable income to you for 2002) "
aS if you know for sure that the 1099 C is already in the mail.
Who do you work for, the IRS????
