Why chat you commented on a Feb. 03, post that:

"If an account is past the Statute of Limitations it is not legally collectible or reportable."

I thought Cra's had the right to leave negative info on for 7 years. I have 4 accounts that have small balances between ($750-$1200.) All from California. Date of last payment 7-98. No payment since. I've gone through the channels that you instructed. Specifically, notifying CRA's that accounts weren't mine, dates, balances, history as being wrong. Came back verified.

What can I now leagally do? I'm basically just trying to get a 0 balance reported. Are you saying that I can get this and also have the item completelly deleted? I'm confused, yet excited. You stated that you have a (SOL.) letter that one could send to the collector then send that same letter to the CRA's along with the green card. This in turn would/could/might force the CRA's to delete. Have you had success with this? This goes against what I thought was them being allowed to keep negative info on your credit report for seven years. Can all this be done within 30 days?

Trans union rights for California Residents says:

"Under federal Fair Credit Reporting Act, the consumer reporting agency must remove accurate, negative information from your report only if it is over seven years old." How does this play into your advice?

thanks why chat.

sincerely,

Wyoming
