HELP!!!!! I am Suuch a screw up!

Okay, here's my situation. I had credit cards with Sears, Macy's, First USA, Dress Barn, And Lerner's. I see that all of the accounts are listed as Charge-off's. The last date of activity is 01/99-10/99 on all of them. Some of them are now showing up under Collections, with various companies.....what do I do? Do I attempt to repay them, or will they be able to be erased in 2006? This is a nightmare!
