Its for a small amount. I believe this will take my score up the 10 points needed for a much cheaper loan. They want it paid off. There must be something that can be put in writing. Im paying the principle on the orig. account, Its the interest, Im worried about coming back to kick me in the ass. Is there nothing that can be put in writing? The debts almost 5 years old. Yes its been re-aged. But, I dont want to wait another 5 months fighting, possible suing. By that time, home prices in my area will have gone up another 25%. It's worth it for me to spend a few hundred bucks now then have to spend thousand and thousand 6 months from now on the same house. I dont want this debt coming back to haunt me in the form of collections, or extending the statute. What if its put in the letter that,

after funds received this account will be, paid as agreed. reported as closed to cra's with no balance showing. all negative tradelines including 1st, last, late, charge and charge-offs will be removed. Any and all portions that may remain, ie, filing fees, interest will not be resold or sent to collectors for any type of collections........For some reason I believe they will delete

please help......
