Thanks for your remarks. There's another problem, too. She is borderline bipolar, which means she often stays up till 3 or 4 a.m. browsing through catalogs for things to buy the next day while I'm at work. (That's the manic phase; during the depressive state, she stays in bed 20 hours a day.) Some people suggest a Guardianship lawsuit to keep her away from our assets; others suggest a divorce but continue to live together. All the options will lead to big fights and incredible stress. I'm not sure how much more I can take of this.
