I have over 20,000 dollars in credit card debt. They have all just been turned over to collection agencys. I had one tell me there was no credit card litigation in Louisiana. Another said if I could not make any kind of arrangements they would tell the creditor, "Citi Bank At&T Universal card" and they would have to decide what to do since I lived in Louisiana. What do they mean? I have no steady job, a couple of older vehicles that are paid for, a old house and land that's paid for that I reside in. I guess I'm asking mainly can they take my home and land here in Louisiana. The value of the property would be under 15,000 and total value of vehicles is less than 10,000. I know I could file chapter 7 but right now my limited income will not allow it. I can't even afford a bankruptcy. Any help would be appreciated......
