I just posetd to about my delimea (debt questions). And WHYCHAT responded that he/she never heard of a lawyer counting federal disability as income(VA and SSI) and pointed out federal statues TITLE 11 > CHAPTER 5 > SUBCHAPTER II > Sec. 522 which said (section 10)
The debtor's right to receive -(ect ect) listing VA disaiblty and SSI benefits. To me this simple means they can not garnish those wages which I already knew. But does WHYCHAT mean as far as income I do not count this as an asset or estate?
Which income I am assuing is consider part of your estate. Very confusing cause cause it says "The debtor's right to receive -" doesnt say I can take it off my estate or not list it as my asset.
Are their any sections as to what is considered income in a bankruptcy? I have looked and I have not seeing anything... on what is considered actuall income or an asset.
