Just got out of Court with CAMCO 30 minutes ago (OHIO)

I just got out of court with CAMCO. Thanks to this site I was and WhyChats site I was present and AWARE! Before we met with the Judge (who is up for election), he tried to settle with me (like you guys said they would). I told him that I’m not going to settle. He asked me why and I told him that this ALLEGED debt was past the SOL for Ohio. He told me the SOL for Ohio was 15 years and I told him, NO - it is my understanding that it was 4 years. He asked me if I was attorney (I dressed the part) and I told him no but that I have a large group of friend that is AWARE. He reiterated that the statue was 15yrs and He said we would go to the Judge. When we went into the Judges chambers, the atty. for CAMCO didn't have any paper work, just the notice of the court date. The Judge couldn't believe it! I was the only one who knew what and who we were there for (of course I played just as confused). I told them that the only thing I know is that it was for a CC from 1991, which if is correct is passed Ohio’s SOL. The Judge laid into the atty. a little more and told him that he advises him to have all the documentation for him and me and scheduled a trial for 11/22/02. I would have laid into the atty. in front of the Judge, informing the Judge of their practices, frivolous torts and thousand of complaints, however I didn't want to push my luck. I have to admit that I am a little nervous. Is the statue 15 years? Am I mistaken? Is there a way they can make a open-ended statue 15 years? Sorry so much info but I wanted to tell everything.
