Here's a question to add to that. I'm currently being sued for about $7,500 in debt (I think that includes attorneys fees - gah I'm clueless). What prompts me to be sued for a similar amount and another to be potentially charged off. Don't get me wrong - not whining here. I just saw the similar amounts and wondered - is it the difference between one company and another?
