If it was filed before Oct. 1,2001 and not refiled in Tallahassee this month, it is not valid against PERSONAL PROPERTY.

If she is NOT living in the Fl. house, and it is NOT homesteaded, she will not be able t sell the house or refinance it withot paying off the judgment TO THE COURT.

If it is homesteaded, and she has a pending sale, she can file an "Affadavit of Homestead" with the Court, it is good for 180 days and allows title to be transmitted without PAYING OFF THE JUDGMENT.

If none of this is workable, she will have to wait the 7 years from the filing date to sell or refinance the house, as that is when the judgment becomes void.
