CA and the law office that they use

I have been making monthly payment to a law office for credit card debt, in the amount of 3,900 is all that I owe, but I have been making payment of 200. a month for over 5 months now and now they don't want me to make any more payments, they are going to take me to court , I want to do what is right, but with 4 kids , one job and just mim wage , its hard to make things meet especially when my husband has skin cancer on his nose , with doctor bills , the economy , i just wanted to pay the bill and now i am scared, that we won't be able to make things work how so if i can get some help we got one letter from the ca before they sent it to a law office in our state of okla , the ca is from tx, its not the same credit card company, so can you tell me what I can do . or anything to help out
