Your homestead in Ca. can not be sold to satisfy any lien unless you have more than $75,000. in equity.

You need to get a lawyer to help you. Go to my website and click on California, at the bottom of the page there is a Ca. law firm. Or go to the NACA website, or try legal aid.

You may be able to get your $$ back from the collection agency, and have the judgment vacated.

Are you SURE there is an actual filed judgment on record against you? Did you appear in Court to contest it?
